Privacy Policy

At BellArquitectura we process the personal data you provide through this website's contact form in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

  • Controller: Bella Menorca, S.L. (BellArquitectura), Tax ID (CIF) B26942060
  • Address: Plaza de España 20, 3rd floor, 07701 Maó (Menorca), Spain
  • Email: hola@bellarquitectura.com
  • Further identifying details of the controller are available in the Legal Notice.

2. Purpose and legal basis of processing

This site's contact form combines two distinct purposes, which we handle separately:

  • Business inquiries ("Projects"): if you write to us about a project, we process your name, email, subject, and message solely to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is your consent, given by checking the acceptance box on the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a).
  • Job applications ("Careers"): if you write to apply for a position at the studio, we process your name, email, message, and, if attached, your CV, to evaluate your application and, since most applications reach us unsolicited rather than tied to a specific open process, to keep it in a candidate pool for future openings. The legal basis is your consent, given by checking the acceptance box on the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a).

3. Retention period

We keep business inquiry data for as long as needed to handle the inquiry, and no more than 12 months from the last contact, unless it leads to a contractual relationship, in which case the retention periods legally required for commercial and tax records apply.

CVs received are kept in our candidate pool for a maximum of 12 months from receipt, after which they are deleted unless you apply again. You can ask us to delete your CV earlier at any time by writing to hola@bellarquitectura.com.

4. Recipients and data processors

We do not share your data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. To provide the service, we rely on providers acting as data processors on our behalf: our web hosting provider (Vercel Inc.), our transactional email delivery provider (Resend), and an infrastructure provider (Upstash) that processes your IP address for a maximum of 20 minutes, for the sole purpose of preventing abusive use (spam) of the contact form. These providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the data transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another safeguard recognized under the GDPR.

5. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability by writing to hola@bellarquitectura.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with applicable law.

6. Security measures

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, in accordance with article 32 of the GDPR.

7. Minors

This site's contact form is not intended for use by minors under 16. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with data without parental or guardian consent, we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legislative changes or changes in how we process data. We recommend checking it periodically.

9. Cookies

This website does not use first-party or third-party cookies for analytics, tracking, or advertising purposes. No marketing tracker (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) or audience measurement tool is installed. Should this change in the future, this policy will be updated to disclose it before use.
